But it was in the post WWII era that their influence went international through collaborations with key Danish designers like Arne Jacobsen. During a brief period in the 1950s and early 1960s, Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen produced the iconic designs that would solidify both of their reputations as masters of forward-looking yet timeless high-quality furniture. Jacobsen’s Ant, Series 7, Swan and Egg Chairs defined a clean, graphically organic look that remains current two generations after their initial release.
