We recently installed the AIM lights from Flos in our shop and it got us thinking about AIM’s designers, the French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bourroullec. Like Jasper Morrison, they’ve created a body of work in a short time for various manufacturers including Vitra, Mattiazzi and Hay, that, despite its radical simplicity, is instantly recognizable as their own. We admire their respect for materials and their love of natural, organic forms and we love featuring their designs every chance we get.
Hay from Denmark is one of those lines that has an immediately recognizable identity, even as it offers an incredibly diverse range of furniture and accessories for the home. The Hay identity embodies simplicity, quality, informality and fun. Spend some time with Hay’s web site, www.hay.dk , and join us in admiring their unique and uniquely accessible take on design.
