A classic adaption of industrial processes, this chair by Charles and Ray Eames is both lightweight and strong. The reinforced welded shell sits atop the “Eiffel Tower” wire base, creating an airy and distinctive silhouette. Now available with wire base, 4-leg base or dowel base and a variety of upholstery options.
The curved, bucket-back seat is made of cross-woven wires and secured on a welded wire base, dowel base, or 4-leg base. The dowel base comes in ebony stained white ash , solid walnut, solid maple and white ash. Frame finish in black, white or chrome-plated steel. An optional seat pad adds some extra cushioning to the woven wire form of the Eames Wire Chair. Available in a selection of textiles or leather coverings, the seat pad adds a layer of comfort to the iconic silhouette of the Eames Wire Chair.
