Sarpaneva Cast Iron Pot
Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala - 1960
Finnish designer Timo Sarpaneva created a timeless and ingenious design that’s functional in the kitchen and appealing on the dining table. The enamelled surface prevents food from sticking to the pot while the elegant wooden handle detaches to lift the lid. This classic design became so popular it was immortalized on a Finnish postage stamp.
Cast iron cookware coated with enamel. Handwash only. Can be used on a ceramic, electric, gas or induction cooktop, or in the oven. Use wooden or plastic utensils to avoid scratching enamel.
