Saarinen Executive Chair
Eero Saarinen for Knoll - 1950
The design of Eero Saarinen’s Executive Chair began when he and Charles Eames submitted several designs to a design competition at the Museum of Modern Art. The Executive Chair was originally made of fiberglass but was later updated in polyurethane. Featured in nearly all Florence Knoll-designed interiors, the chair remains one of Knoll’s most popular designs. The Saarinen Executive Chair is available with or without arms, with metal or wood legs, or a swivel base.
