Florence Knoll™ Lounge Chair

Florence Knoll for Knoll - 1954

Florence Knoll humbly referred to her furniture designs as “meat and potatoes” — filler between the standout pieces of Bertoia, Mies, and Saarinen. 65 years later her furniture is anything but filler. Her attention to detail, eye for proportion, and command of the modern aesthetic resulted in some of the most celebrated furniture of the modern era. The Florence Knoll Lounge Collection includes a lounge chair, a settee, a sofa and a bench, all with classic mid-century proportions. The pieces have distinctive tufted seat and back and a simple, architectural exposed metal frame and legs in bright or satin chrome.
